RE: John A. Applegate
Jackie,
I found the death cert. of John A. Applegate born in Hightstown, Mercer Co.
That would not be my John A. Applegate because the family were never in Hightstown or Mercer Co. at that time.
The death cert. only list the father Henry. Many Henry Applegate's were in that area in that time.
There are no mentions of Sarah being his mother.
So, this leads me to do more research for my John A. Applegate.
Thanks again for your input, it has been very helpful.

Hi Jackie,
Thanks for your research.
I was trying to make corrections on my I-phone and I think I deleted the entire site for John A. Applegate.
Can you send me a copy of the death cert. for John A.Applegate in Philly?

Brother Robert Wells
Just a shot in the dark. Did your brother Robert live in Holmdel at any time or married to a woman named Janice?

Hipple Ancestors
My GG GF is John A Hipple (Find A Grave 161455430). I am not a genealogist, but my cousin, who is one, has not been able to identify his parents. Another Hipple descendant living near me in central PA has done about 150 pages of Hipple genealogy tracing them back to Germany, but neither she nor my cousin have been able to identify how our line links to them. Pretty much all I know about John is on his online memorial. There is some documentation my cousin mentioned that his father's name might have been George. At one time she had an Ancestry tree that linked John back through a George, son of a William Hipple to a Frederick that came from Germany.
William Hipple Feb 28, 1771 - Feb 15, 1833
George Hipple Oct 24, 1809 - Feb 11, 1872
But this George isn't located where John says he was born, so we think not his father.
I would love any info you can share on Hipples in PA, especially where they are buried. Thanks much.

HI Jackie:

Are you a volunteer at the Somerset County Historical Society? I am Pam, the librarian. I thought I recognized your name. I am getting the info from the Veteran's Grave Registration Card that we have in our collection.

Thank you!, I changed it to the same spelling as you have for his wife's memorial.

Hi Jacqueline,

I made the transfer you requested, it is better to have family manage the entries. I also transferred all of the other names I had created from the stone.
