Thanks for your reply regarding Gaugert.
Charles, I have no luck pinpointing
the arrival of Jacob Wolf or Katherina
Stroebel. Are there any Stroebel letters,
photos, diaries, etc that you may have seen
or heard about?

How is Henry Gaugert related to the Wolf
Stroebels as he has posted many gravestones?

Thanks Charles for your prompt reply.
Unfortunately, Georg Keller arrived
about 4 months after Johann Jacob Wolf
and Eva Maria Katherina Stroebel were
married. I tried Dottie's email but it bounced back. Any idea how old she is? Do you have a more current email for her?

|Wolfman||RE: Leonard Keller|
George Leonard Keller who married one of the Stroebel sisters. As you know, my 2nd great-grandmother was Eva Maria Katherina Stroebel who emigrated two years before your 2nd great-grandmother. My thoughts are that she emigrated
with other relatives/family friends given that
she was single. Just thought that perhaps she
came over with the Keller clan. Yesterday,
I reread the ISTG link that you forward to me
and saw the footnote regarding George Frederick
Strobel emigrating to America earlier on an
unknown ship. Do you know of Dottie Hinrichs,
author of that footnote?

Do you have the date of arrival and name
of the ship that Leonard Keller traveled on

Charles, your genealogy information regarding
the Hohenstein's and Stroebels is great. Do
you have a reference that you could share with
us. Thanks Wes

I have followed your "suggestion" regarding CJ's obit, but my word, this is the largest obit I've ever read, or typed up.
Let me know if you spot any errors. Thank you.

Thank-you so much. She contacted me but wants my transfer number. I have never had someone ask me for this and am having a hard time finding it. I am at the end of visiting family so hopefully I will be able to spend more time finding it. I appreciate all of time. My family was not big on history so this has been a very hard journey for me. We now have family pages and I want to share our relatives final resting places with those of us who have never seen them. My blood line and love line (those related by love not blood) are extremely important to me. Thanks again.

Hi Charles. Charles W. Blackburn Sr. is my father and I would love to manage his memorial. However The person who created the site has the messages disabled. I am hoping you can help me. His number is 32885868. I already manage my mother's. Her name is Myrna Rose Bill Blackburn Raetz. Thank-you for your time. Sandra Blackburn Vaine
|Dogwalker 41||RE: Bowman Family|
The vagen web site shows 3 McInturff Cemeteries (all in Kings Crossing):
The vagen web site shows the 3 individuals as buried in McInturff #3.
The Find A Grave site has 2 McInturff Cemeteries called:
McInturff Cemetery...Kings Crossing
and McInturff Cemetery #2...Fort Valley
I have been to both cemeteries this year. The Find A Grave site of the cemetery in Kings Crossing is where you created the Bowman memorials. They are not there. I have photographed the entire cemetery...and the stone for Theodore Bowman would have stood out since it is from 1976. If you look at the Find A Grave McInturff Cemetery #2 (Fort Valley), you will find the 3 Bowmans have memorials already set up there.
The confusion seems to be the difference in how the 2 websites list the cemeteries. Look at the vagen site McInturff #3 overall cemetery pictures and the Find A Grave McInturff #2 overall cemetery pictures and you will see the same cemetery entrance sign posts.
I will be happy to photograph all 3 for you...maybe next week...although the markers for Charles and Anna may be difficult as they are concrete markers flush with the ground. I have found others like these in the #2 cemetery that are very overgrown.
Please let me know...and I will be happy to help.
