Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been wanting to do a tribute of some kind for my father, on behalf of my family, but until I recently caught up with computer technology, I wasn't able to do so.

In many ways, this tribute would not have been possible, without Bill Gates, whose vision has brought everyone closer together via cyberspace.

Thank you, Bill.

And Dad, as you always told me, "Stay on the front row of life."

Well, I'm trying. But without you, it's just a little harder, and a little sadder.

Thank you for honoring Willis Carrier this week. He doesn't get many flowers.

RE: Edna Wey

I wont delete my memorial on Edna. That is not the way Find a grave works. The person who puts the memorial out there first is who owns the memorial. You added yours a year after mine was added. If you want the memorial to update it that is fine. I will transfer it to you but it is not to be deleted. Once transferred you can do all your additions. Just like you created it.

Edna "AYRES" Wey

I just noticed that you have your grandmother's maiden name (Ayres) in the wrong field.

You have Ayres as her middle name.

Ayres is her maiden name, not her middle name.

RE: Edna Wey
Hi Charles,

I didn't create any memorial for Edna. So, I cannot delete anything.

You need to talk to the person (Gina Zeigler-Park) who created the original memorial for Edna (Memorial# 153426060) and convince them that they should delete their ORIGINAL while you keep your DUPLICATE (Memorial# 169956424).

I have nothing to do with any of it other than to have sent you a courtesy message to tell you that I noticed that you created a duplicate that should be deleted. What you do with that information is up to you at this point.

You created your duplicate a whole year after the original was created. See above for the creation dates. Oct 08, 2015 versus Sep 15, 2016

I am not sure why you say Find A Grave has indicated that yours should be kept when it is clearly a duplicate.

If you want the memorial for Edna because she is your grandmother, all you need to do is send a message to the ORIGINAL memorial creator and ask them to transfer it to you.

Good luck Charles. Sorry I cannot help you any further.

RE: Tommy Rettig memorial
Sometimes the administrators arbitrarily shut off that option.

RE: Tommy Rettig memorial

I appreciate the offer but the Find A Grave administrators have closed Tommy Rettig's famous memorial to any new photos.

Thanks again for the offer,

sorry - I see now the "Bill" you referred to is not Bill Cason

Dick Clark
Hello Charles, Note all the names around Clark's page, now findagrave maintains it and so any additions and corrections they control. But also note who added the photos - so for instance you can also see the Find A Grave mtg has turned off most of the settings except the virtual flowers and notes. Besides that, I just had my Cason cousins visiting me this last weekend - and "Bill" also helped me when I added my Cason cousin's family to the family tree so they would have all sides of their tree to be full. Have you tested your y-dna yet? My email is on my page, I am older and always behind but always like to hear from family in-laws and theirs

RE: Dick Clark photos / Findagrave does the photo postings
If you will look again at the page you will see that I did not create his page someone else did. Please look in the bottom left hand corner.

I only submitted a picture which they reviewed and posted the way they wanted it. I never post a picture more than 200 X 200 and that one is bigger. Once Find A Grave takes over the famous people's pages it is in their hands. They have control of it and I do not have the option to change the picture.

RE: Dick Clark photos
Find A Grave maintains the celebs photos. They review, approve and post them and once they do we can not change them. Thank you for you interest.
