Mary Hard Groendyke #89102871
Can you help me please?

I found your memorial for Lewis Groendyke (#6632073) and it is linked to a Mary Groendyke, but the parents for Mary are incorrect if this is our Mary Hard, daughter of Burton Eleazar Hard and Fannie Brown Hard.

Who is the Mary Groendyke, memorial# 89102871 ??

RE: Fannie Brown
Yay!! Saw the new memorial. I have one photo - James Henry Beeson I -- husband of Calista May Hard Beeson.

I have 2-3 photos of Lee Roy Hard and his bride, Gordye May Dunn Hard, and then one of their son, Roy Flynt Hard and his wife Dorothy June Gregory.

Fannie Brown Hard
THANK YOU so much for posting her obit!!! You and I are cousins. My line is Burton, Willis, Lee, and his 1st wife Gordye (#74239767). She is my great-aunt.

RE: Fannie Brown
She is buried either in Oakhill Cemetery (Kansas) with her husband Burton Hard *OR* in Glenwood Cemetery (Iowa) because of her daughter.

Her daughter Emeline is the only child who was living in Glenwood IA and was buried there, too. When Burton died in 1886, I believe Fannie moved to Glenwood to be with Emeline. That's why I think the cemetery is one of the above.

PLEASE post the obit! That would be fabulous to see.

I would love to connect with you re: Clara Finsley. Henry Thompson, her first husband, was my grandfather.

RE: Thomas & Mary Mead
Due to the headstone sinking into the ground, reading Mary's dates is difficult. However, the writing is a bit more legible in this picture. If you do not care for it I can remove it.

RE: Thomas & Mary Mead
I am glad that has made you happy. I do have another shot of the headstone. That shot does show Mary's dates a bit better. If you want me to, I would be more than willing to post that as well.
