Bio

I have served for about 30 years as Secretary and/or Treasurer for the Bahala Chapel Cemetery Association, Inc. - a private non-profit organization established in 1975. Donations are invested to fulfill the Association's purpose of providing funding and arrangements for the perpetual preservation and maintenance of the cemetery.

Bahala Chapel served as a Methodist Church until its closure in 1973. Donated to the Bahala Chapel Cemetery Association by William & Genevieve Conolly, the Chapel and cemetery are located near the banks of Bahala Creek in the Tryus community vicinity, approximately 4 miles west of the community of Oma. Oma is 10 miles south of Georgetown or 16 miles north of Monticello on Highway 27. For more information about the organization, the history of the Chapel and cemetery or how you can donate, contact me at the email address shown. Thanks!
