You are most welcome... happy to correct any discrepancies when I can find corroborating evidence.

They are one and the same. One is a cenataph, but don't ask me which one... See The Libby Family in America for details. I will add the detail for Thomas on his two memorials.

Yes, that's the photo I have. My dad remembered him fondly.

I went back to my original photo, but still not sure. I would be guessing, - maybe 1943 or 1948 or 1949 - but not sure. My best guess is 1949. I consulted an index that has been done by the Alberta Genealogy Society and they have 1942 but it does not look like the 2 that appears in the old stone for Lottie. One suggestion would be to call the Westlock Funeral Home 1-780-349-3474 and see if they know.

Claud's father was not Alfred Willhoit. Claud wasn't born until February 14, 1907, a full year after Alfred and Birdie's marriage. Dora was his half-sister; Nancy was their mother. Claud is buried in Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery in Phoenix, Arizona. The death date on his headstone is incorrect though, an error by the government. He died in Phoenix on February 21, 1960 from a house fire; you can find his death certificate online. Everyone in my family has said his biological father was a William Mashburn(Nashburn). I think I might have found his father, but I'm still doing research to confirm. Thanks for your message, if you find out anything else please let me know!

I have other memorials. If you want some or all of them, let me know. I need specific names though so I don't accidentally send the wrong ones.

I do. Her name is Ruth A. Warmack. It gets complicated. She was the 4th wife (out of 5) of Leonard Broock. Leonard was a professional baseball player in Portland, then a scout, died a retired cigar salesman for H. T. Shelley Co. He had a habit of womanizing, shall we say, and was caught with future 2nd wife while married to first. Bunch of articles in The Oregon Daily Journal at newspapers.com regarding this. 1st wife: Minnie Graf (wealthy debutant); 2nd: Mary JOSEPHINE Boland (my direct descendent); 3rd: Irene Annette Bishop; 5th and final: Thelma Cofer. He had another son by Minnie Graf - Bernard R. (Broock) Roberts, b. Dec 1910 in Portland, OR. He took Minnie's 2nd husband's (Elmer A. Roberts) last name. They are the only two known children as far as I can tell, although in his obit it says he had a daughter, Carol Sue Rees of Lincoln City, but she could be a daughter of one of his wive's previous marriages. I haven't been able to find out anything more about her. See my tree on ancestry for more details: http://person.ancestry.com/tree/127955/person/230001215142/facts for links, etc. Glad my research is benefitting someone! I like to link everyone together as much as I can, even though sometimes it gets way off of my actual line! Let me know if you have any other questions.

|Alison||RE: more Chambers Ft Sask|
Alberta has NO vital stats available on line, and I have just heard that we can no longer access them even when we go, in person, to the Provincial Archives. Even the AGS website is a "members only" item. This is a large part of my reason for adding so many names in Alberta cemeteries to Find a Grave. I call it my 'revenge' !! If you think I might be able to help PLEASE give me a shout.The further away someone lives from here the happier I am to help all I can!
There might be something on this site to help
http://www.ourroots.ca/ or even on here http://peel.library.ualberta.ca/newspapers/

I do not know where Mary Salina is buried. Her husband after James Burd died was Leon C. Soward. He is buried in section EE site 117 San Francisco National Cemetery, The Presidio. I have checked there for her but found nothing. I also checked the Auburn Cemetery where her Father Adam Reichert and Mother Christian Fisher are buried. Nothing there.
I have a bunch of pictures of Mary Salina that I could scan to you if you want them.
