Please use Suggest a correction, I dont get on here like I used too and when I do I can fix them.

People have been submitted by spreadsheets over the years. Attempts have been made to eliminate living people and duplicates. If you believe a living person is included, you should submit proof to me via findagrave correction. Just because there is no date on a headstone does not mean someone is alive.

Google and other searches do not prove someone is alive, I can google many people in my tree that google would show to be well over 100 years old that I know in fact are dead.

While I have thousands of memorials at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Rochester. They are all added based on the actual records in the office. In many cases these records only listed people as Mr. Ms, Miss. exc... I choose to leave these records as they are unless someone has added a headstone and the dates match the cemetery index I have in my posession.

Unfortunately I used to change them as unknown but I have learned over time people assume they are there family when in fact they are not and the dates do not match at all per the records of the cemetery.

Because of this reason it takes me some time to vent the record changes at this particular cemetery because I look each and every record up as time allows to ensure the accuracy.
