Bio

I always been interested in cemeteries, and family history. My work on my family history started in 1978. I worked most of my life in manufacturing, starting in Production and eventually ending in Quality Assurance. I retired in 2010, after working for 40 years and doing a tour in the United States Air Force, during the Vietnam War. Enjoy checking out cemeteries and working on my family history. On father's side is: Banister, Bracken, Burke, Mappin, Rogers, Williams. On my mother's side there are Peterson, Johnson, Johannesson, Petersdotter, Sill, Swanson, Edwards, Holmes, Schumacher, and Sundlop, just to mention a few. These families are a mixture of Irish and Swedish, which makes for some interesting times. I was inducted into the "Sons of the American Revolution" in May 2012. I also do volunteer work for "Togetherweserved.com", a veterans organization. In addition, I belong to McDonough County Genealogy Society.
