Jeff Hughes
George Claud Staton
My name is Officer Jeff Hughes with the Wichita Falls Police Department. We have recently received some information that George Claud Staton may have been a member of our department when he died in 1937. Do you have any information about him or his death?

RE: Jacob Schiefer No. 8283141
Thanks for the reply. My great-grandfather, Christian Schiefer (1830-1909) is not, according to your info, the brother of Christian.
I'm disappointed because the German immigrants are difficult to research.
My Christian's wife was Maria Gertrud nee Schmitz (1820-1889).
Had to add her just in case we had a match.
Happy New Year!

Schiefer Folks
My great-great grandfather was Christian Schiefer Oct 4 1830-Jun 19, 1909. Could your Christian be a son of David or Jacob?

My g-g-grandfather, Christian's wife was Maria Gertrud nee Schmitz (1820-1889).

Do you have David Schiefer's birth/death dates?

I feel that somewhere along the line we're very distant cousins!

Best regards,

Do you know of any relatives for the above referenced man? My great-grandfather was Christian Schiefer (1830-1909) also buried in Union Cemetery. Was wondering if they may be brothers, cousins....
Any information would be appreciated.
Best regards,
Robin Truitt

Harry, I will be glad to transfer Frank to you. I just met him at church, but didn't really know him.

FYI: I am trying to photograph and catalog so this cemetery will be as complete as possible. Happened to add some Greendyk and Bubeck headstones for memorials you created. Thought you might like to see them.
