I was born on October 17,1960 in McAllen, TX. I graduated from Mission High School in 1979, from Commonwealth College of Funeral Sciences of Houston, TX in 1980, from the University of Texas-Pan American of Edinburg, TX in 1998 and from the University of Houston Graduate School of Social Work in 1999.
I worked in the funeral business for several years until I decided to help the living with their problems as a counselor and social worker.
I worked at Sunglo Home Health Services under their Sunglo Fellowship Centers for 15 years as a Facility Director in Mission, Brownsville and Harlingen. I served the elderly population with dedication and pride. Additionally, I was the Administrator for Caring For You Home Health, Inc for 5 years.

I currently live in Mission, TX. USA and have two sons, Ruben Gonzalez III and Daniel Gonzalez.
