Rudeness will be ignored.

I enjoy documenting graves so that others can find their kin easily & accurately. It is an opportunity to honor those who have died as well as give current and future generations access to information on the life of a forebear or other relative.

Thanks to everyone who has sent encouraging and positive thoughts! I don't always have time to answer everyone back, but please know you too are appreciated. :)

With only a few exceptions, I will no longer enter cause of death info nor death certificate numbers.

Duplicates: It's never my intention to create a duplicate on purpose. If you come across a duplicate I have made, please use the SAC and let me know.

If I enter a memorial on May 1st for Jane Doe and then someone else enters another memorial for the same Jane Doe on May 15th, the one entered on May 15th is the duplicate, not mine, regardless of how much info is or isn't on the memorial.

Transfers: I am not one of those people who refuse to transfer in or out of guidelines. Ask and ye shall receive, unless you're 1 of those people who don't transfer out of guidelines. Please note, if we are both related to the person in the memorial I will only transfer if you are related to a closer degree.

If you have any questions about family history research, or need help navigating this wonderful site, I always enjoy the opportunity to help you. Please contact me via the SAC tab on any memorial I have created.

RE: Thank
I was not able to get a photo of Adam Fleming thru the window of the Family Crypt. I was able to see Lovey and Hortense thru the window. Glad I could help you find your cousins. Linda

RE: Civil War Soldiers buried in WV
My ggg grandfather had 15 boys by various women. Lol. Some fought for the South and some the North. I have one relative who died and is burried at Andersonville but have found no record. I live in Central Florida in Lady Lake. Small world we're both in FL. I'd love to move back to Va where i was born but i don't see it since my children and grandchildren have followed. I'll be in touch when it comes time for WVa.

RE: Civil War Soldiers buried in WV
I just added your relative to my lists. When I finally get to the West Virginia section of my book he will be included with your permission of course. If you have any photos when the time comes i would love to add his photo along with any info you'd like for me to include. I will be in touch when I get to WV. I lived there in Canaan Valley for two of the best years of my life. I'm now in hot, sunny Florida for the time being. Take care. Anne

RE: John Maloney, Monroe IOOF
Wish he had something from when he was alive where he personally put his middle name down - I think I'll change middle name to Joseph and make note about marker and SSDI having P. Oddly, the 1940 census has his middle initial as M.

Hi William - I have put a note on the memorial about the discrepancy in middle name/initial - have you come across anything other than the census records that have his middle initial J? His marriage record does have John Jr., but really no middle initial. Maybe I should look at his obit

RE: Squires photo requests
Glad you were happy with them. I felt bad that they were so dirty and overgrown. I got them pretty well trimmed up, but all the rain we have had this winter have really made a lot of the stones really dirty. Chris

Squires photo requests
Hi William: I went to look for your requested memorials today. I found them, but I need to apologize for the photos. The graves were overgrown with grass from all the rain we have had and they were really dirt. I trimmed them best I could and wiped off the lettering, but I'm sorry I couldn't do a better job for you. Chris
