* MILITARY RANK DESIGNATIONS: While some people adamantly refuse to add it, I WILL honor their service and rank. A veteran who has served honorably may bear the title of the highest grade held during their honorable service. They do not need to have died due to war or be retired to get this honor. This right is conferred by Congress in law by 10 US Code 772 Section (e) A person not on active duty who served honorably in time of war in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, or Space Force may bear the title, and, when authorized by regulations prescribed by the President, wear the uniform, of the highest grade held by him during that war.

Despite what is on occasionally claimed by ill informed persons records of a deceased are lawful to post on Find A Grave or any other public or private access webpage. This does not invade the deceased person's privacy. Nor is it a violation of law. Same goes with the dates/locations of birth, marriage, or death.

Burial information is not private, in many jurisdictions in America it is publicly available information. All one needs to do is walk the rows of any cemetery and record the headstone, then put on Find A GRAVE. In closing deceased people don't have a legal privacy right. Thank you for understanding.

VITAL RECORDS birth, marriage, and death certificates welcomed. # PLEASE Obliterate THE CAUSE OF DEATH, regardless of cause.

CENSUS Records may be posted, due to small size please hi lite the family's name to stand out.

PHOTOS Please use common sense here. No inappropriate photos of deceased. Yes, there is a reason I mention this.
.
TRANSFERS it is fair for me to ask and you, the requestor, to indicate your relation to the deceased. If it is someone I knew personally I may know their family too.

Photos posted by others. Statements posted by others I have no control over. One would think common sense to language use and suitable photos would be posted. Sorry not always the case.

EDITS: Send ALL suggested edits via the edit function. Otherwise may be ignored.

Family Searcher ID 47043691 IS NOT ME. That is why I've added #1 to my Find A Grave handle. Please do not confuse us as the same or multiple profiles.

I can not stress POLITNESS to you in your communications with me. I will not accept threats, demands, or bullying of any kind to get an edit or even a transfer of a memorial be they my friend or family outside of Find A GRAVE guidelines. Some have resorted to pettiness of "reporting" me to admin if I do not bend to their whim and do their bidding as they demand.

*If you send me a text asking about a specific memorial I posted on or may be the custodian of, please include the MEMORIAL NUMBER of which you ask. Otherwise your question may go unanswered if I can't find it.

I've been doing genealogy since about 1991. Like many amateur and professional genealogists I enjoy walking through old cemeteries and wondering about the lives of those who are laid to rest below my feet. That is how I have created many of the memorials in my file, walking through cemeteries, or they are friends or family too.

EDITS: Contact me, VIA THE EDIT TAB on a memorial, if I have entered info of a friend or loved one and there is an error to be fixed or additions to be made.

**IF YOU ARE RUDE OR DEMANDING to me... you will be ignored.** Have I written that enough yet?

PLEASE USE THE TAB on the specific memorial to SUGGEST* edits or ask questions.

*Remember, none of us are obligated to make edits just because you think it should be done. Demands and rudeness gets you no where at all. Some just don't understand that.

Also, if you ask me a question in the messages, but don't have the messages enabled to return a comment, I will NOT respond.

In messages INCLUDE memorial number you are discussing I may have several extended family members of same name. .

Thank you,
