Bio

Love ancestor research and sharing it with others. Member of DAR (13 patriots), Colonial Dames, Sons and Daughters of Pilgrims, and Jamestown Society. Been researching since 1998 --building on work done by my grandparents, aunts, and uncles way before the internet.
Enjoying Find A Grave and connecting relatives whom the person who created the memorial did not know belonged together.
Grateful for all the work done by others to help give our ancestors the respect due them. They were incredibly brave, surmounting hardships and obstacles which we can't even imagine. Yet they survived and had children who had children or I wouldn't be here doing this research! I love to capture their stories to tell to myself and others.
PLEASE NOTE: As stated, I love to share. However, I am greatly annoyed when someone takes pictures from my Find A Grave entries-- pictures I personally scanned of my family members-- and then shares them all over Ancestry etc. as though they own them without attributing the source of the picture. Please click on a picture and find out who took it and who it belongs to before sharing it as though you own it. Correct attribution enables the people who are related to the people in the pictures to contact their source.
