Please note that the information regarding the dates on the stones are from the tombstone readings. Sometimes there is no death date - I never know the reason why the death date is not there. Stones quite often were carved with just the year - no month or day - that is how they were entered. In most cases I have no other info - except for those that belong to my personal genealogy.
If you want the stone updated I will do my best to get at it in a timely manner.
Please no bulk requests.
Thank you, just another cemetery reader.
Karen ;)

Romeo Cemetery Macomb County
Thank you for accepting the recent edits I sent for the White family in Romeo Cemetery. I hope that I did not overwhelm you with the quantity but it was important to add maiden names, dates, and family links. Thanks again!

Memorial# 9996914 (Friederike Kahler)
Friederike and Frederick Kahler were my 3rd-great-grandparents. I believe that another look at Friederike's gravestone will show that she was born on February 9, 1815, and died on May 14, 1898, which corresponds to the age of 83 years, 3 months, 5 days.

BRIGGS, Elizabeth LORD 10410221
On Elizabeth memorial the Charles Briggs set as her husband isn't. Her husband is buried in Union Cemetery his memorial is 10410224. Many thanks for these memorials, I knew where my (GG) Aunt was buried but I wasn't sure enough to make a memorial.

Ida Stroup
Karen, I only know if Hiram and Ida because a group of people in Macom Co. went to the cemetery and dug up stone, removed trees and set stones back up. Since I was from the Stroup/Straub family I just named them for them. That is how I sent you the childrens names. I looked them up on ancestery. Hiram was an unknown person to me. I will however deleat Ida as you say she was somewhere else. Please deleat Susanna and George from him.

Hiram Stroup 10410594
Please remove Hiram from George and Susanna. He is not their child, he was born 31 years after her death. He may be a grandchild but I have never found him.
