It is now sixteen years since we moved to Scotland to be near to our daughter and son in law. It is peaceful here, such beautiful countryside, and so good to be near to them. I lost my dear husband in October 2016 and miss him so very much.But the love of family and friends help me. I know he is safe and not suffering now. We were married for 53 wonderful year. No one can take precious memories away. ,The people I have met through FAG are so friendly and helpful. I am interested in the American Civil War, as well as our Civil War. Names interest me, my maiden name was CLOUT, and Mum's maiden name was RIDEOUT, both unusual! I Also I am interest in old films and stars, reading, knitting, and my garden. I also write poetry and short stories and have had some published.
It is now 22 years since we lost our little cat Mitzi. Animals are part of our family too. Have also added my Mum and Dad, and my Grandparents, other family members and friends which is wonderful, I can add flowers whenever I want to. I think it is so good that we can leave flowers for other people's loved ones, it is a great comfort to do this.
