Bio

I became a contributor because I found so much info on my own genealogical research that others have posted on the internet. This is my way of repaying that favor. I mean no disrespect. I find a number of damaged headstones and I always make a point to record them with info and date on the photo caption. If you have any additions, changes, or deletions, please let me know through the "suggest a correction" feature.

"Their bodies are buried in peace; but their name liveth for evermore."
- Ecclesiasticus 44: 14

"Since it is not granted to us to live long, let us transmit to posterity some memorial that we have at least lived." - E. Joseph Cossman

*Please do NOT copy my photos to other websites without my permission. I am getting tired of finding them on ancestry.com & I WILL report you for doing so. I may consider granting use for a one-time specific instance, properly credited, but I do not grant requests for non-specific use.*

*Note regarding photo requests at Eternal Hills:
Effective July 2006 the cemetery is citing a "confidentiality policy for their customers" as their reason for not providing plot location look-ups. Please be sure to include the plot location on the memorial page and I will be happy to fulfill your photo request.*

*Note regarding plot locations at Eternal Hills:
In almost all cases this information is from a visual inspection of Block Markers and Section Signage on the day of visit. I have attempted to be as accurate as possible, but no guarantees. Block Markers have frequently been spun around or removed and staff moves the Section name signage frequently by a number of feet. You should contact the cemetery office to confirm exact locations.*

*Note regarding the "Last Residence" in the SSDI:
This is the address of record, not necessarily where they lived or died. Please do not ask me to list it as the place of death on memorial pages - to do so would only be a guess.*

*Please include the name when providing Family Links. At least 1/3 of those I receive that are # only are incorrect. Thanks!*
