For any corrections please use the edit tab.

And yes you can post obituaries.

I love how people leave you a message stating you won't do something. First an email was sent to an email that I don't use and isn't on my contributor page then they don't even wait three days from that email to post a message on your contributor page how they will go to findagrave because you didn't jump to their command. I never said I wouldn't do it, but please give a person a chance to make the correction. I made a duplicate which was by accident. I honestly try to make sure it doesn't happen. I do forget to look for "unknowns"
Not all of us have the time to spend 365 days a year, seven days a week, 24 hours a day on findagrave. Please lighten up and at least give a person a chance. We can't all be perfect !

*Just a note this person has entered 781 Prunty and of those 332 are unknown burial information, makes it easy when you're working on a certain cemetery to overlook someone postings of "unknowns". This way you find out the information for them and then they go to findagrave saying you made a duplicate and won't delete it.*

Just being honest would have been nice, "I want to thank you for finding the information on where this person is buried when I posted their memorial I had no idea where they were buried so I made their memorial burial unknown, now that we know would you mind deleting yours ? I can see how the duplicate was made.

Kindness goes along way.

George C. Goard, Sr. was my great-grandfather. Find A Grave says "Died at Potato Patch." I've never known that to be on his marker. I'd like to talk with you about it.

Myrtle Mae Fites Cemetery question
Hi. I have a picture for Myrtle M Fites that I added to this entry. I then noticed the cemetery name wasn't what I expected. You have her in
Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery in Reno

I also see her name on this site and the headstones and dates match my picture. They have her in Mountain View Cemetery in Reno.

The gps coordinates are the same as a husband she had.
The death date and name matches your entry. Is the cemetery perhaps wrong on your entry? Or might this be another person.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hattie E. Pierson
Are you related to Hattie? I have a photo that I think is Hattie taken in 1898. I would like to add it to your listing for her but want you to see it first and say yes or no. Please email me and I will send you a copy of the photo. Thanks.

Samuel E Bowlby
Is the picture you posted for the find a grave post for Samuel Edward Bowlby a picture of Samuel and Carmelita? I assume it is, but this is the first search I have done on this site so wanted to confirm that. Thank you for posting the picture.

Thanks for the addition about the marriage. The entry either directly above it or below it was George's sister marrying a Zane. So the 4 of them went from northeast Kansas to Platte County Missouri and got married. There has to be a good story there!

Elkins & other Memorials
I just wanted to thank you for all of your memorials that you spent /spend so much time and effort in making. Your diligence has assisted me greatly in locating several of my Elkins relatives. Keep up the good work, try to ignore those who are a distraction. Many of us appreciate everything you do for us and for those long gone before us.

You're welcome and thank you.

Don't feel bad. That lady has purposely duplicated several of my memorials with inaccurate data. I had to have findagrave delete them and force her to discontinue her antics.

Dora Obregon Morton
Hello. First off, I want to thank you for setting up the page for Dora. She and I and a number of others were a tight group of friends in high school during the chaotic 1960s. After graduation, and Dora had moved away, I learned secondhand that Dora died from complications arising from childbirth, and that it made national news. That's the extent of all that I know. Dora and Dawn Davis were extremely significant friends of mine while we were in high school.

I would very much like to talk to you on the phone, if you are willing and it's not inconvenient.

Thank you -- John
