RE: James Thornton/Royal Palm Cem.
Hi Ralph, You are very welcome. After we photographed James' grave, we looked around in the nearby area and found the graves of Walter and Lena Thornton. (They were very closeby.) We photographed them and when we got home checked on Ancestry and found out that they were James' parents. We added their photos on their respective memorial pages at Royal Palm. If you would like any additional photos, please don't hesitate to ask.

James Thornton/Royal Palm Cem.
Hello Ralph, My husband and myself just returned from Royal Palm Cemetery where we photographed the grave of James for you. I will be posting the photo shortly. Adjacent to James grave, were the graves of Lena Thornton(1879-1939) and her husband, Walter Thornton (1875-1954). We guessed that they were probably James' parents. We photographed those graves also and will be adding those photos to their memorial pages.

Father was William Draper 1774-1854 and his mother was Lydia Lathrop 1775-1846. Hope this helps.

Charles Draper
Hello I am doing research into the Draper name because its my Grandmothers family, for my family tree. I am stuck on Charles Draper, he died on April 5, 1870 in Forest City, Iowa. This looks like him except that his birth year is wrong, according to all of the Census records that he is in, in NY he was born between 1789-1791. I can't see how the census records would be all wrong with the year this Charles has for 1795? I can't I can see how it would have a 4 to 5 year difference in birth year.

I am looking for Charles Draper born about 1790 and died 1870 in Forest City, Iowa married to Marinda Draper. Also looking for his parents cause I am stuck on Charles Draper. Any help would be appreciated. Shannon

Richard Draper
I asked for an edit to link Richard to his father Charles, and also he was in the Civil War.
I have some info on Richard that I found, if you'd like. He was married twice, or maybe you have some on him. You are probably only looking for info on his father Charles.
I'm not a relation.
