Retiring from the US Marines in Sep 1983. Returned to the US Government two years later (Dec 1985) as Physical Security/Law Enforcement for the US NAVY. Place of duty US Naval Base, Pearl Harbor (1985 to 1991) and US Naval Magazine Lualualei, Hawaii (1991 to 2009). West side of Oahu, Hawaii.
While at Lualualei, got involved and interested in an old military aircraft crash site. (Date of accident Mar 22, 1955) Forward left side on a mountain half mile from the main gate called "PaliKea". Meaning cliffs cross in Hawaiian. A US Navy NATS (Naval Air Transportation Service) flight DC-6 Aircraft. On or about 2am in the morning, Crashed into the mountain killing all on-board. 66 people were victims in the incident. No one survived. A mixture of all branches of the military returning to the mainland going to Travis Air Force Base. For respect and remembrance. All were posted on Find a Grave in remembrance.
Retired from US Civil Service Dec 2009 with 24 Years of Federal Service. Extremely talented with using computers and solving problems with them. Just an old Marine grunt still alive from the Viet Nam era. Two one and a half combat tours in-country. Da Nang area(1st Bn 3rd Marines) 1st tour and 2nd Dong Ha(3rd Bn 3rd Marines) area. Now, totally retired from the US Government side. Aloha, hang loose like a mongoose.
