RE: Hillside Cemetery
Thanks for your email re Hillside Cemetery. Did you ever consider entering into Find A Grave people for whom you have photos but are not yet in Find A Grave? It seems a waste to have the photos sitting on your computer when there are people who could use the information.
Feel free to email me & have a good day.

RE: Parents for Fannie Shumaker #92581176
Hackleman Cem is on the other side of Cedar Creek and you have to go way out around and back to get to it. My father (Merle Steely still alive at 93) used to speak derisively of Hackleman Cem because it was not fenced off and "cows walk around, lick the stones like salt, rub on the stones and knock them over".
My Keller line was poor back after the Civil War, several men killed by 'bushwackers' and typhoid leaving women and children struggling to keep the farm. So I have made several memorials where I have pictures of broken headstones and 'field stone to mark the spot'. At one point an aunt showed me specific field stones saying "These mark Daniel Keller's family". Sad. So I have made memorials for them. No one younger than I is going to know or do that.
I did find a memorial for Malloy at Mound-Mann...hope to return and get more photos sometime this summer.

I live 40 miles from "Mount Pleasant Cemetery" in Vernon, Missouri
On a recent day trip took about 70 pictures there and am slowly getting them uploaded.
I added pictures of the grave site for Fannie's parents Dock and Alice Baker. LOVE the wedding picture of Fannie and Edward!

You added a photo of Mathias and his wife. We're looking for his father. Do you by chance know any more about this family? Thanks, Karen
