Bio
My Grandfather, Noah Trentham, owned 350+ acres above Gatlinburg (White Oak Flats) in the Sugarlands area of what is now the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. My father, Sam Trentham, was nine years old when the family moved to Pigeon Forge in 1933 after the park was established. (Dad passed in Nov 2012)
My Mother, Sarah Ruby Stogner, born in Alabama, came to Tenn in the 1940's. She spent most of her life gathering her family records. Guess I got my interest in genealogy from her. She is now 95 and unable to dig up any more bones! (Mother passed in Nov 2014)
Upon request, I will transfer memorials for your close relatives.
I live in Louisville, Blount County, Tennessee (near Knoxville).
