I live in Ridgeway, Iowa County, Wisconsin. I grew up in nearby Mount Horeb, Dane County, Wisconsin. My hobbies / passions are genealogy, photography, gardening and crafting. When the weather allows, I like to tromp around cemeteries and find relatives and other people I know. I am most interested in my Norwegian ancestors and mine and my husbands German ancestors; with names like, Venden, Moen, Swiggum, Zwiefelhofer, Waterbury, Stroede, Mueller & Brunk. Also, I've been researching my step-grandpa Gammeter's family (Swiss), and my daughter's father's heritage. Unfortunately, I've lost some friends and classmates, too, so I've been looking for their grave sites.If you find one of my postings and find mistakes or have information you can add, please don't hesitate to let me know. I'm always hungry for more information. Thanx!|

I added a grave stone photo for your grandmother...should be okay to remove your temporary photo; unless you would like to post your own photo.

|Bonita Tollefson Guarino||Betsy Espeseth Mickelson|
Per Sharon Collins:
The listing for Nels Espeseth's daughter Betsy Espeseth Mickelson is wrong.
Betsy's parents were Nils Espeseth and Marit Komplin Espeseth Huseth.
The error is under Nels Espeseth, Betsy Espeseth Mickelson and Bertha Venden Espeseth. Please correct.
Nels and Bertha are buried at the Vermont an Cemetery and ils and Mariteseth are buried at Dalyeville Lutheran Cemetery.

Hello Kari. I found a picture of Maria's grave. 1882-1967. Block 25 - Lot 101. I sent an edit of this location for Uno as he is buried there, too. I have a picture for Maria (Jokinen 1882-1967) and will go get a larger one of the location as I don't believe there is still a stone for Uno. Do you want to add Maria to Find A Grave and then I can add the pic. Lynn

You are missing a a son Kent.
Also the son "Harvey" is incorrect. His name is "Harry"
|Jean Howe Gladem||Clarence Arthur Mickelson|
The memorial for Clarence Arthur Mickelson created by Bonita Tollefson Guarino and maintained by you, has many errors.
 Clarence Arthur Mickelson was never married. He is listed as being married to Betsy Espeseth Mickelson. Please correct.
 He is listed as being buried in West Blue Mounds Cemetery, when in fact he is buried in Vermont Lutheran Church Cemetery.
 His parents are not Mikkel Arneson Mickelson and Beret Mickelson Mickelson. His parents are Iver [Ever] Mickelson and Betsy Mickelson who were from Black Earth and are buried in Vermont Lutheran Cemetery.
The church records from Vermont Lutheran show he was buried on October 24, 1921. He was killed in WWI on November 5, 1918 and his body was returned in 1921 and buried.
|Tammy L Dankert||Albert Zwiefelhofer|
Find A Grave Memorial# 9472789
The date of his birth is stated as 12 April 1866 and his baptism is stated as 8 April 1866. There is an error, because the baptism could not have occurred prior to his birth. Maybe it is supposed to be 18 of April instead of the 8? I just thought you would like to be made aware of it so that you could fix it. Have a good day. :D
|mjshistory||Joseph Frank Traxler died 1958|
Eau Claire Daily Telegram Aug 15 1958 p 2: ...died at Sacred Heart hospital in Eau Claire WI. Life time resident of Eau Claire, WI. veteran of WW 1, worked at Presto Industries 12 years retiring in 1954. Survived by his wife and a sister.
According to this obit, this man died in Eau Claire and not the Veteran's hospital?
