Bio

I have been researching my own family (off and on) since the early 80's. The internet has been a blessed research tool for someone like me who has spent too few years where my Danish and German ancestors settled.

My husband and I are both retired military and the grave information I've added reflects two transfers. My husband's military path led to a wonderful assignment at Fort Huachuca, AZ. While there, I began collecting the names in the post cemetery.

Then the army took us to Fort Hood,TX for fourteen months where I "adopted" the Killeen City Cemetery in nearby Killeen. I did not do nearly as much as I had wanted there, before we were once again on the road back to Ft. Huachuca in August 2005.

I formerly worked as an associate faulty member for the Center of Life Long Learning at Cochise College teaching basic genealogy classes. I still photograph cemeteries whenever I have the chance, and enjoy the fellowship of findagrave.com.

I am happy to help fellow researchers whenever I can. If anyone needs help in the general area, I will try to be of service. ("General area" is relative, as many of the small cemeteries in the area are twenty, thirty or more miles from a town of any size) Feel free to email me.
