Retired in 2003 from City of Houston (Manager of Printing). Returned to work as a Land Title Researcher and Abstractor in 2006, as an independent contractor in the petroleum pipeline industry to help with college expenses for two 'adopted' granddaughters. Retired again in 2009. Living in Spring, Texas.
U. S. Naval Reserve, active duty, 1967 and 1968. Administrative yeoman, Naval Security Group, Bainbridge, Maryland. Special Intelligence functions. Special Top Secret NSA clearance. Honorably discharged in 1971.
Accepted in 1966 as a member of Mensa (Membership# 1008575), an international organization of men and women whose I.Q. is above 98 per cent of the general population.
Hobbies include genealogical research, home computer activities and writing. Book author of "Fundamentals of Permitting for Seismic Exploration".
Maternal great grandson of Samuel Wesley Ketchum, brother of Thomas Edward "Black Jack" Ketchum, notorious outlaw brothers. Also paternal third cousin to President William Jefferson Clinton.
