Bio

Being raised by parents a generation older than most of my friends' parents, I learned to appreciate my elders and I spent much time listening to them as they shared their life stories with me as a child. My father was very interested in his family history and he is the reason I became interested in genealogy.

Family means the world to me and I joined Find A Grave in December 2004, excited to have the opportunity to create memorials for my loved ones who have passed on. I had created several memorials at the time but then I stopped coming to visit and whenever I returned to my account in 2015 all but 2 of my memorials had vanished and now there are new ones by other contributors. I don't know if Ancestry.com had a data loss at some point and lost my memorials or just what happened but I am getting back into this now and trying to have the memorials of my loved ones transferred to me to care for. It means a great deal to me to be able to see to it that they are remembered with love.

I have no interest at the present to do memorials for anyone outside of mine or my husband's direct family as many do. I may possibly add a family friend from time to time. So, if you see a memorial in my care, it's family or friends :) Take care and God bless you!
