Cemeteries are a significant part of that passion, for in them lie the stories, written and unwritten, of my past, our past, our country's past. Together with my wife, we love wandering through old cemeteries, graveyards, and family burial plots, listening to those stories come alive as we read the tombstones of those who have gone on before. For decades, we have both traveled the globe, researching, where we could, the ancestral trails of those people that would eventually lead to her and to me.
