It was a beautiful day to be out on a nice drive, so it was rather enjoyable. I'm sorry we couldn't get a better picture of the lettering, it was so worn away, and it was hard to get underneath that tree. It crossed my mind, I wonder if that tree was intentionally planted by that grave at burial, and they just never realized it would get that big? If so, the tree itself is a lovely memorial, it's strong and healthy.

|Debra Herps-Tipton||Susan M Shoptaw Herps|
I contacted you back in June regarding William Casper Herps for whom you set up a memorial. You said your only connection to him was through the Shoptaw line. Susan Shoptaw is my great grandmother.
I would be grateful if you could share any information you have on her and her family up or down the line. I am working on my family tree and would love not only to learn about my past but also to connect with living relatives.

Thank you, Michele. I am not sure how this works. I just started researching my family on Find a Grave for about the last 8 to 10 weeks, but I am willing to give it a go. Thank you for setting the memorial up.
FYI, Michell, Susan M Shoptaw Herps was my great grandmother.

Hello, Michele. My name is Debra Lynn Herps-Tipton. Thank you for creating this memorial page for William Casper Herps. William was the brother of George B. who was the father of George Edward Herps, my father. Making William my father's uncle. I started working on my family tree about 4 months ago and have not had much success in getting information about my relatives/ancestors. I am not sure if you have any information on any of the Herps family that you would share with me, but I would appreciate anything you have. I would be grateful if you had any photographs of any of them as well. My Email is email@example.com. Thank you in advance for your help.
|Patricia Darling||Stella Darling Persons|
I wonder if you could make a change to Stella's memorial (#46334110). Please remove Harry Darling's name. He is the son of the other Gilbert Darling. (178906754).
Thank you for your help.
Pat Darling, (married to the great-grandson of the other Gilbert)

|Viola Holden Jones||McDaniel/McDonald Family|
I have extensive research on this family line and would like to have more on Linvil McDaniel/McDonald line. The names was changes by census etc. and some went back to court to have is changed back to McDonald; however, some did not. I descend from John McDaniel second marriage to Margaret Watkins and Linvill is through the first marriage Elizabeth Linvill. John had a brother Eli and I descend from both of these brothers. Eli is named for his mother's family the "Eli" family. I have researched this line for 30+ years.
