Bio and Links
Bio Photo I use to use chalk on old stones, and was unaware of any damage it may do. I no longer use chalk on stones. If anyone has a listing I placed a stone photo on in which I used chalk, and they want that photo removed, just let me know and I will remove it. As agreed by find a grave, the chalked photo's will be removed as new, readable photo's are placed on the listing.

I just want to let everyone know, I do read all of the messages left on my page, and appreciate hearing that my efforts are not in vain. I am sorry though that I only answer the ones that are a question. I do appreciate all of your messages.

Hi Tom: Thanks for posting their edits. As mentioned in the past, I live about a 5 minute walk from the cemetery. You might recall, there was large vacant parcel across the street (North Line Rd), well tis no more. Site development is now taking place, lot is graded, most trees gone, water/sewer/gas lines etc. in process. Apt. complex going in. Sad, the rural complexion of the area slowing going. All the best Bill.

Well. There appears to be a conflict because the children show up as Estelle's. Interesting to say the least!

Could you please tell me who this person is as I have Estelle Catherine Schaffer Yauchler as the wife of Olin W. Yauchler. The 1940 census confirms this.

Louis A Vieta
Hi Thomas,

I appreciate you adding the death details on Louis A Vieta's memorial(# 68130481). I noticed that his daughter, Diane also made a memorial, but did not have all of the same info as you did. That memorial is: #6301801. Perhaps the two of you could combine the two memorials with the most accurate info? (All of the documents I have found validate the info on your memorial).

Christie Cemetery in Mayfield
Hi Thomas,

I'm wondering if you created the 'Christie Cemetery' in Mayfield listing

I recently found a description of the cemetery in an old newspaper article and I thought it might be good to show this in the info section for the cemetery:

Also in the area of the Christie Road, on the Earl Hart property is the Fonda plot, a small cemetery site with a dozen field stones and two marked stones. One is that of Peter Fonda, who died at the age of 81 in 1884. Another marked stone partially buried and broken could be that of his wife. From article entitled, "Cemeteries Good Source of Number of Historical Facts" by Betty Tabor of the Leader-Herald, Gloversville-Johnstown, NY, Saturday, August 28, 1976.

RE: Culver's - Mountain Ridge Cemetery
You've got them, Tom. Glad to see them "go home."

Take care.

RE: Culver's - Mountain Ridge Cemetery
Hi, Tom,

Thank you for your kind words. The reason I do this work is to help folks find their family members and friends. It's nice to hear once in a while that someone has done just that.

Thank you as well for the edits. I accepted them, so you should see a bit of a change in their memorials. You'll probably want to check to be sure everything came out as you intended.

I'm guessing that there's just a chance you might be related. If so, or even if you just know the family, I'd be more than happy to transfer these folks to you.

I also have memorials for Frederick M (1824-1903) and Sarah Jane (1834-1917) Culver in North Ridge Cemetery. I don't know if they're related, but based on Fred's date of birth, he is of the right age to be a brother of James. It's a bit of research for me, but you might already know if they are related.

Let me know if you'd like transfers of any or all of these folks. Among other things, I'm looking to my own mortality, and would love to see folks happily "back home" with someone who will see to it that they are cared for in the future.

Thanks, again.

Take care.
