Bio and Links
Bio Photo Looking for any information about the Robert Ferrell family that lived in Fairfield County, South Carolina in the late 1700's and early 1800's. Some of my family names are Farrell/Ferrell, McRae, Pate, Lovelady, Bass, Johnston, McAnally, Robershaw, Higginbotham, and Webb. My family is mainly from Texas and Alabama. If you think there might be a connection, let me know and I'll check my family tree!

Robert McTyre
I have them currently in the Naples cemetery, but am beginning to think they are in the Daingerfield cemetery, where all other McTyre's are from this area.
I will move them there and continue my research.
There is a stone in Daingerfield that just says "grandmother McTyre", no name or dates other than that and it could be Lucy.
I will leave them in Daingerfield awhile and check other avenues

This helps quite a bit. Since the whole cemetery has been photographed, it is possible that her grave is unmarked...or the marker is covered by dirt and vegetation. If her grave is unmarked, I may need a bit more time to confirm it's location.

I have been fighting a heavy cold, but am recovering. I don't think I'll be out there until next week. Once recovered, I will give your request priority.

Stay tuned!

Pearl Reese Photo Request
When I took the photo of Pearl's marker, I noticed that her husband, J. Marvin Reese, who is buried with her, did not show a death date on the headstone. His death date according to the S. S. index, was August 11, 1993. If you want to create a memorial for him, I will post that picture also.
