Virginia and I recently (2016) celebrated our 56th wedding anniversary. My family roots include Hobson (of course), Garrison, Vandruff, Goff, and so many others too numerous to mention. The family tree has been my form of recreation for over thirty years, and I continue to seek and find connected families. I collect obituaries, headstone photos, old family photos, published biographies, engagement and wedding announcements for those in my family tree, and am always looking for more. I'm very grateful to those who post information without hoping for financial gain. I usually post memorials here when there is an obituary to use as a biographical paragraph. My own collected research is available for the asking.|

Next to the grave of James William, I also found a Clemuel and Margery Bryan. Possible relative if you are interested in photos.

I have checked my personal photographs of cemeteries. I have both Hill's buried in the New Phillip's Cemetery. I will check to confirm that the next time I am in Greene.
Since I do not "own" the Joy Curlin Hill memorial, i cannot delete her from the "old" Phillipscemetery.
On reflecting, I think that Shelia Black would need to delete her from the "old" and then add her to the "new".

|Judith Terry||RE: George Hobson|
I continued to work last night on this Hobson 'puzzle' and found that George H died in October of 1900 and his widow did indeed have his child, Georgia, born the following April!! So the newspaper obit was correct - at the time it was written. Thanks for your good work with Find A Grave, and also appreciated is you quick answer to my question.
