I was raised learning the value of honoring family my whole life. Whether living or dead, we honored them. We have pictures of my sister and I when we were young toddlers taking flowers to the graves of my grandparents, for example. My other grandmother reinforced this idea of visiting our elderly in their later years and honoring their memory afterward. It is a priceless gift I hope we all carry on and encourage in our families.

I found Find A Grave through Ancestry.com. My grandmother instilled a love of genealogy in me from a young age, and found it very interesting and showed me the records she had. I found it fascinating as I find history in general fascinating. Finding out where one's family fits into history is a rewarding and interesting venture.

While almost strange at first glance, I have come to really appreciate and love what Find A Grave offers. Between my own visits to cemeteries over my life, and through the stories of my Great Aunt Betty and the like, I can see how tombstones can deteriorate and graves can be nearly lost altogether. What a shame that is. Find A Grave can help in instances like this, because we can memorialize our precious loved ones here, virtually, no matter what the elements may bring.

As for using photos that I have shared on memorials, I'll gladly give you permission to use my photos if you ask me, indicate that I have given permission, and provide a link to their FindAGrave memorial. Thank you!

As for memorial transfers, I am happy to transfer a memorial over to you if you are related and I am not, or if we are both related and you are of a closer relation than I am. I am so thankful to have had that done for me, and am happy to do the same for others.

As for correcting errors, this is a top priority for me. Please let me know if you see any errors and I would be happy to correct them. All pictures and stories are welcome as well. Whatever we can do to celebrate those that have gone on before us is more than welcome.

Thank you for visiting my page.
