Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was born in Austin, Texas and lived most of my life in Austin and San Antonio and now live near Anchorage, Alaska. There are 3 major cemeteries in the area and I will gladly fulfill any photo requests at Fort Richardson, Anchorage, and Angelus Cemeteries if the weather permits, since there is snow on the ground 6 months out of the year here.

My ancestral roots are mainly out of Bell and Palo Pinto Co., Texas and the cemeteries there make up most of the final resting spots for grandparents and beyond.

One of my hobbies is taking and collecting photos of my ancestors final resting spots, no matter how modest the headstone is, or even a lack of one.

As a final word, please use the photos I have provided as you wish. I take them because I love doing it for people and that's what they're here for! Copyright means nothing to me!

Watkins @ dfw national
If you have access to the Death Cert and let me have the name of the funeral home that serviced the account and see if there was a change in plans at the last moment on the interment location. She is not interred at DFW National. I have checked with the adm. of the Cemetery and they have no record of her.

Do you have the section number and plot number? If not you can contact the cemetery at 281-332-3111 and they will look it up for you. The cemetery is so large and without this info it would be hard to locate. I will be happy to go photograph the marker/monument for you.

RE: Harriet Campbell Hendrix
It's been several years since I've looked at this closely. The best way to determine Indian heritage is via the Dawes Indian rolls that were taken in Oklahoma. One in the 1890's and one about 1910. If they are not on the rolls, a lot of Indians didn't want to register with the government. My wife's family desends from Edwin Gray Hendrix's first wife Jane James. Edwin adopted her son (5yr old) Joseph Jasper. We don't know what happened to Jane, after 14yr marriage with no other children she disappears. He then marries Harriet. Some were I saw in my research that said she was full blood Indian.
Joseph Jasper's son Britt Hendrix actually married one of Edwin & Harriet's daughters. When I see 'Dutch' mentioned, my family mention Pennsylvania Dutch, turns out it was 'Duetch' which is Pennsylvania it could be Black German?
