Bio

I was born the oldest child of my parents and the oldest grandchild on both sides of the family in Baker, Oregon in the year of 1938.

Married twice, raised four children and worked from the time I was 16 to the age of 62 when I retired.

As of this date I am a 78 year old widow. Mother of four children, two boys and two girls. I have 12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

I have had a very full life up to this point except for the loss of my husband of 37 years. He lovingly accused me of being obcessed with genealogy, although he loved seeing the pictures and reading the details I found in researching our families.

I got involved in genealogy when he became ill and I had to stay home more and more to care for him. Genealogy is my pasttime and probably social life now that he is gone. I still babysit for the great grandchildren when needed and do my research in all my spare time.
