RE: Wilson
Tami, I got this information from the Tallahatchie County Cemetery Record book. I've loaned the book to someone, my daughter I think. I'll try to catch up with it and check. But I'm sure it's right. I did the Memorials by the cemeteries.

Robert C Ruffcorn
Hi Tami,

I see that you were the one who added Robert C Ruffcorn to Find a Grave. Are you a relative? The reason I ask is my father and Robert served in World War II together. I'm working on a scrapbook about my dad's days in the war and enjoy touching base with family members. Dad didn't talk much about his time in the service, but every once in a while he'd mention a name and I remember him referring to "Ruffcorn" or "Ruffie".

My dad's name was William Maxwell Gritton, Jr. No clue if he had a nick name while serving.

I see that Mr. Ruffcorn was a radio operator. Dad was a tail gunner.

Unfortunately Daddy died in 2000 before I could get a chance to talk with him about his time in the service. I wish now that I'd taken the time to ask questions.

Calhoun Cemetery - Isaac Parrish
Hi Tami,

I see that you have taken photos at the Calhoun Cemetery. I have read that Isaac Parrish is buried there but have not been able to locate it in the official records nor is there a photo in Findagrave. Are you in a position to visit the cemetery and photograph is headstone? I have tried to find a contact for the cemetery so that I can get the location of his grave but have not been able to locate a telephone number or email address. Isaac was a congressman and therefore it is hard for me to believe that there are no records which makes me suspicious that he may have been buried elsewhere. Any advise would be welcomed. Regards, Mary

Tami, Marie Bernadine Tensmeyer was my Grandmother, and Harry Tensmeyer was my great-grandfather. I need to edit these records as there is information missing and/or incorrect. Please advise how you can transfer these, and potentially other records into my management.

Thank you,

Karen Dunn

Catherine Bock's middle name
Hi, Tami,
Thank you for sending the edit. In an attempt to verify, I found and transcribed her obituary. However, it didn't mention her middle name.

You may have worked with her, or been with her in one of her many social activities--in any case, I would like to know how you know her middle name was Mary.

I look forward to hearing from you!
