Bio

I'm a genealogy buff that enjoys spending time in the cemeteries, taking photos and enjoying the outdoors. I am currently researching too many family names to list them all here but my direct lines are Bowman, Bradburn, Byrd, Cave, Doering, Holton, Moore, Scothorn, Smiley, Taylor, White, Wieman, Wilson, Young and obviously all the misspellings of those names.

For those of you that need/want a copy of a photo that I have posted to Find-A-Grave - Please feel free to download and re-upload to Ancestry.Com or to your Family Tree software any of the photos I have posted to Find-A-Grave. My Belief is that Genealogy materials should be free. With that being said Please DO NOT publish any photos in works that will or could be for profit, my photos are copyrighted and although I do not mind personal use I do not want someone to profit from my hard work!

Messages feature has been disabled. All requests must be made through the edit process. I'd prefer to spend my time out in a cemetery taking photos or transcribing those photos, or with my grandkids, not answering messages in multiple places all over the internet.

Transfer requests will not be acknowledged without your e-mail address and the relationship to the person you are requesting a transfer for. While I don't hold to the Find-A-Grave standards for transfers, I do occasionally get transfer requests for the same person from separate people. While not often, to be able make a determination I need to know your relationship.

Transfer requests will not be entertained for memorials that I've sponsored. If a memorial is sponsored, I sponsored it for one of 4 reasons 1) I'm personally related to the person through a direct line ancestor link 2) I'm personally related to them indirectly and they had no children and all other living direct relatives are deceased 3) they are my husband's family 4) they are my daughter-n-law's family, all of which will be managed by my granddaughter when I pass on. I will not transfer memorials that I've sponsored.
