~~Ask not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country~~

Looking for additional information on the Moore side of the family along with Hall,Boone,Gunn,Mills, Davis, Jennings, Causey just to name a few. My Moore's came from eastern Tennessee by way of Dublin, Ireland to Virginia to Rhone & McMinn counties in Eastern Tennessee, to Arkansas, Texas and places beyond. My grandfather used to tease us and tell us we were related to Daniel Boone. According to Ancestory.com his was right, we are way down the line that is for sure. I am his 4th cousin six times removed, whatever that means...My maternal grandmother Eva Ila Mills was born in Danville, Arkansas. Her father William (Billy) Elisha Mills III family came from Scotland, UK. They lived in Scotland, Arkansas.
You don't realize the sacrifices that your ancestors made until you have seen the obstacles they had to endure. I have driven from Arkansas to Knoxville, TN with my job. Those mountains in Eastern Tennessee are extremely high and if it weren't for bridges people could never traverse such a monstrosity.
