I will stop at almost any cemetery in Salem County, NJ and photograph tombstones, most of my entries are not related. All of these are added to Find A Grave to share with others.|
Please feel free to use the photos I have posted on any Find A Grave memorial, BUT please give credit to me by showing "photo by Find A Grave member 46831114". I take them to share with others but ask that you be courteous about their use.
If I have created any memorials of your relatives and you would like to manage them I'd be more than happy to transfer them upon request...just tell me how you are related when you make your transfer request.
Please DO NOT add death certificates to the memorials I have created. This is not the place for death certificates - it is a place to honor the lives of those who have gone before us.

Thanks for the photos of Hannah and Elmer. They are related to my second great-grandmother Susanna Kandle Fox who is buried at Friendship Finley. Just to let know that you put the photo on twice on Hannah's page.
|memento mori||Re: Elwood C. Northam, Sr.|
Re: Memorial # 153832307 - You are quite correct, the last name shown on the gravemarker is indeed NORTHAM'S. Apparently, this was some kind of grammatical faux pas attempting to indicate it was the Northam's gravemarker (i.e., the gravemarker belonging to the Northams). The last name, according to the obitary, social security records, etc. is NORTHAM.
FindAGrave rules say to enter the last name exactly as it appears on the stone (to avoid duplicates being created) so I've changed the last name to match the stone. I've added an explanation in the Bio section. This is the first time I've seen one like this. It's kind of weird.
Thanks for pointing it out.
|memento mori||Elwood C. Northams|
I got your edit asking me to change his last name from Northams to Northam's. Just wanted to double check this, as I've never seen the hypen in this particular name.

Many thanks for taking this picture....
One of these days I may take the ride to see this cemetary, to pay my respects to my ancestors.
