"Memorials are transferred for relatives with these close relationships: child, spouse/partner, sibling, parent, grandchild, great-grandchild, grandparent, great-grandparent, niece/nephew, great-niece/nephew, aunt/uncle, great-aunt/uncle, or first cousin. (No great, greats) This would include adoptive, step and in-law versions of these relationships." Other reasonable requests will be considered.

The Togus Medical Center, Togus Hospital, Togus Hospice, and Togus Springs are all in the town of Chelsea, Maine. The facility was built as a resort hotel, and housed Union veterans of the American Civil War prior to being converted to a veterans hospital. The enlistment/released dates on military memorials come from U.S., Department of Veterans Affairs BIRLS Death File, 1850-2010. A few months ago I noticed that often the 2nd set of enlistment dates are not shown. As of Jan 2023, I only list the information that can ;be supported elsewhere.
