As Blanche Caldwell Barrow's cousin, our family wants to help repair the image of Blanche that was portrayed in the 1967 movie "Bonnie & Clyde". She was not the screaming lunatic that Estelle Parson's portrayed her as. As a matter of fact, Blanche was asked to approve the screenplay before the movie was made as part of the agreement for them to use her name. By the time the movie came out, it had been changed so much that she recognized very little of it. She was furious when she saw the movie with her third husband Eddie Frasure. She lived with the embarrasement the movie caused her until the day she died. There are many misconceptions about Blanche. I hope to change that with the new book I am writing and with my website telling her story and showing many of her personal snapshots. Please visit http://blanche.debez.com/ to read more about Blanche.
