Bio

I have been fasinated in Geneology as a child. When I was 13 I came across letters written by my maternal great grandmother. She was enquiring about her family and where they came from. It was fascinating to read the letters and learn about the ancestors you have never met. It was then that I seem to have gotten bit by the geneology bug.

I love finding information on family and finding pictures of ancestors. It is wonderful that Findagrave has a site where we can honor our dead. Our ancetors should never be forgotten and this is why when I leave flowers on my memorial page or other memorial pages, I leave Forget Me Not Flowers. Our ancestors made us who we are today and we must appreciate that. I love leaving flowers on other memorial pages and I hope others will do the same. Everyone has a story to tell. It is only right for the living to remember the dead, even if they are not related to us. They are related to someone. It's only right to honor them.

UPDATE 11/10/13: I have noticed that pictures and information I have posted about my ancestors have been republished on sites like ancestry.com and geneologly.com. While I don't care that they are used I would like at least for those people to site where they received the information and pictures. Its like plagiarism to me. You are stealing someone's information that may have taken them years to find out and trying to get away with saying it's yours.

Update 4/5/2014

Received a phone call from someone saying that a picture that was found on find a grave was not the wife of my uncle. I have changed the information but next time instead of YELLING OVER THE FREAKIN phone can you calmly tell me. Or better yet there is a message board on find a grave that goes directly to the person that posted the pictures. All you had to do was send me a message and I would have gladly changed it. Thank you.
