"FLDL and Connections" = Fenske-Layton-Dean-Linn and Connections.

Please submit comments and requests through the "Edit" feature on a particular memorial I manage. Sorry, I refuse to publicly post my email address - too many scammers out there in the big bad mean world wide web!

I'm open to transferring the management of numerous Fenske memorials to my many Fenske cousins, providing the memorials are not in my direct line and fall close to FaG relationship guidelines (more can be negotiable). Many of these Fenske memorials were unselfishly created and photographed by David Velten from Bolton, Massachusetts. David is a descendant of Michael Velten and his wife Catherine Miller who are buried in Saint Mary's Cemetery, Pierce City, MO.

Need to contact me? Go to my profile and select the "Send Message" tab......OR just click the "edit" tab on any of my memorials and leave your message whether (or not) the subject of your message is related to the memorial.

The following was copied from another member's site which I somewhat concur with:
"I think it is a real shame what findagrave has evolved into. What started (one of the reasons) as a noble way to link people with graves of loved ones they could never hope to see, and with the generations that had preceded them, has turned into a game for some. Memorials have turned into a kind of "trading card", a competition of who can own the most memorials and post the highest numbers. What has been forgotten by many is that these were people, loved in life and death, not a commodity to be traded or owned.
With my apologies to those that have pure motives. I hope there are more of us than there are of them."
