|Steve Barthel||Memorials 35420459 and 35420457|
On both of these you have a bio that says they were married in Albertville, Wright, Minnesota. Saint Michael marriage register, Saint Michael, Wright, Minnesota is the correct place of marriage. Albertville did not exist until the early 1900s. Saint Michael in Saint Michael covered the marriage. Thank you in advance for making the correction.

Could you check and see if I have Mathilda in the right cemetery now.

|Rosemarie||John Skochenski Memorial # 39116810|
Dear Mr Poser,
My name is Rosemarie. John Skochenski is my great grand uncle. He is the brother of my great grandmother Mary. I was wondering if we are related in anyway? Are you a descendant of John? Did you know that the name had actually been Skoczynski previously?
Anyway, I wanted to let you know that his parents are also on findagrave, as are some of his siblings.
His father, Joseph/Josef Skoczynski is memorial # 98420694. (His memorial only states 1 wife at this time, Anna Pilarski, which was his 2nd wife. The woman who created the memorial is a great great great grandaughter of Joseph Skoczynski and Anna Pilarski. She was unaware that Joseph was married previously to an Anna Mazurkewicz, who is the mother of John. From my understanding, Anna Mazurkewicz (memorial # 118156381) died of Diptheria according to burial records of St Adalberts cemetery in Minnesota. Joseph remarried Anna Pilarski. Anna was so young, the kids were so upset that she was young enough to be their sister that they departed from communication with their father and that was that. Just a little bio info for you, if you don't already know.
So to sum up...
father: Joseph Skoczynski Memorial # 98420694
mother: Anna Mazurkewicz Skoczynska Memorial # 118156381
Would you be so kind to link???
The calculated relationships for:
Mary Josepha Lock Hoffman, are accurate.
She was the 2nd wife of George A. Hoffman (my grandfather) of Harding , MN.
And the same is true for:
George A. Hoffman.... accurate.
I believe grandma Kate's last name was spelled Sigorsky. Herman and William (my dad) are definitely Grandpa George's sons.
Thank you muchly for your work at this site. It is because of people like you that I was able to find my cousin Doris Ann Beschienen Gilgenbach, and via her, the other members of my deceased family (much easier than ancestory dot com.
Thank You. If there are any questions about the hoffmans, limited info re the Beschienen family, feel free to contact me.
Kate Hoffman (Kathryn)
