My name is Mike Watkins and have been studing History and genealogy over 40 years. After I retired from the U S Navy in 1988, I attended college at the University of Virginia to study History, then returned to Tennessee where I now own my Great Grandfather's Farm in Giles County, Tennesse. The lines I now study are Watkins, Petty, Sparkman, Bass, Marlin, Pinkard and Byas families all from Middle Tennessee. I am also interested in the Vandecar, Wright, Freeman and Palmer familes of Kent and Allegan Counties in Michigan.
