I welcome corrections, duplicate notifications, and additional information on any memorial that I have posted. FindAGrave is a wonderful resource for loved ones and family researchers, so I want the information to be as complete and accurate as possible. Please research the edits carefully and then send them through the established edit system.

Thanks to all the other contributors who accept the edits I send to them. With the new edit system, we really do not communicate directly anymore, but I wanted to express my thanks here.

I am working on several cemeteries with many unmarked graves and attempting to reconstruct the burials in those cemeteries using death certificates, old newspaper obituaries, and other records.

One reason I take gravestone photos, do research, and compile data is to share the results with anyone who would like to use the information. Therefore, any photographs I have taken or any information that I have posted on FindAGrave may be used freely by any person for personal, family history and/or genealogy purposes. It is not necessary to ask my permission or give me credit.

Some contributors are dot (period) people and some contributors are not dot people. I get edits to add dots and then a few months later I get an edit to remove the same dots. Please instead of worrying about the dots, let's instead spend our time researching, transcribing or photographing cemeteries!

Currently compiling a family history book: "The Groome Family of Groometown-Guilford County, North Carolina" (Caswell, Rockingham and Guilford counties). Please feel free to contact me if you have information on this family that you would like to include in the book.
