I was born and raised in Madison, Indiana and have spent most of my life here. I became interested in genealogy when I visited the Family Search Library while traveling in Salt Lake City, Utah. Since then I have searched the web, courthouse and local library for any and all information I could find on mine and my husband's families. Found several old cemeteries on farms in Kentucky where my husband's family members are buried. This sparked my interest and has led me to visit many cemeteries while traveling.

My husband is a fan of this website and got me interested in posting information I have found in our travels.

Thank you for responding and please please thank your husband and brother-in-law for the selfless work they did to clean up this cemetery and put the crosses in place. I was amazed at how nice it looked. My brother was there in 1960 and said it was overgrown at that time so I can only imagine the work that was required.God Bless you all.

Hi my name is David Hull and I live in Greenfield Indiana. I just found out my grandmother is buried in the Wilson Cemetery in Milton. I visited the cemetey last week and found that most of the grave markers are gone and only pvc crosses are marking the graves. I wondered if there was any records for that cemetery telling where specifically people are buried. My great grandparents are also buried there. Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, David

Question about Transfering a Memorial
I would like to see if it would be possible for you to turn over America Kate Graves Rose - Memorial # 22813431 to us. She is a relative of mine and I actually have a great niece who was named after her (she's my niece's youngest daughter.) It would mean a lot to us! Thanks so much for even considering this.

I can't change this. A contributor can't add siblings. All I can do is add parents. I have no idea how to remedy this. It's beyond my control. Since you are a family member, I'll turn the memorial over to you.

Greetings
Much of my family was born in Kentucky and moved to Indiana. I would like to learn more about the Indiana relatives and am happy to sponsor the graves that I can.

I'm pretty sure you can buy them at the BP station in Milton. But if you want, send me your address in an email and I'll have one mailed to you. pcodling at gmail dot com.

RE: Demint grave photo
Thanks for letting me know where that cemetery is. I'd like to go see it at some point. By the way, your photo actually ended up on the front page of this week's paper. :)

Demint grave photo
Just to let you know, we are using your photo of Jarret Demint's grave in Carroll County as part of an article I did on Revolutionary War veterans who lived here. I gave you full credit in the caption accompanying the photo.
It will be in a special issue of The News-Democrat that publishes Monday, Nov. 11, 2013. Thank you for having posted this. I'd love to know where the Demint family cemetery is located and how Jarret connects to your family tree.
