This is a hobby to me and I make mistakes, just let me know what I did wrong and I'll fix it as soon as I read it.

I inherited my interest in cemeteries from my mother. She believed in paying respect to those who past and at times she just enjoyed being nosey......many times with me behind the wheel of the vehicle that got us to the cemetery. My most memerable one being when she had me take her to a few funeral homes looking for a body. She found out someone died several months prior and she was determined to find out details. We did find out!!! She was a "trip" and I miss her dearly.
My family line is: ENGELHARDT, ZYDEL, MONTROY, MONTREUIL, KARL, STUBBE.
Through geneology I was able to contact family in Poland. In 2008 my husband and I flew to Poland to meet many of my Polish family. It was truly an emotional, loving experience that will be with me always. We remain in contact.
Perhaps I'll get to do the same with my German side some day.

The picture I have of Flora is the same one I posted on her Find A Grave memorial. If you are interested in receiving this cabinet card picture of her, send me your name and address. I picked it up for just a $1, but I would be willing to send it to you for free to get it back to the family that should have it. Please email me at: firstname.lastname@example.org

I am looking for a relative of Flora C. Engelhardt who married George H. Pieper. I have a confirmation picture of her approximately 1904 that I picked up in an antique store in Clarence, NY and would like to return it to a family member that cares.

You created a memorial for her very shortly after her death. I was wondering if you are family? I am doing genealogy for the Swiatosz line and you might have information that is important to me.

Please Feel free to send him my way. I got and email from a sean lux who was a cousin of hers from her fathers side. He inquired about the detail surrounding her death. I was able to provide him full court records of it, but never did get a reply back saying he had gotten the email. The paper in Germany recently ran a story about that summer....They mentioned her, so even the community back there hasnt forgotten....
Hi Ruth! Hope you have been enjoying your summer. Keep smiling :)

I wonder how you are related to Tammy Ivon? Just wanted you to know that her death really had a huge impact on a lot of service members in Germany. Not only the people she worked with, but the people she knew outside of her unit. For years people have wondered where she was laid to rest, and thanks to you we all now know her resting spot. This find a grave post will give closure to the service members who knew her. 25 years have passed, and we still mourn her loss. Thanks for the wonderful pictures. I have passed the find a grave link on to all of her friends. Such a tragic loss!!

Wish I knew how to find my Polish relatives. Congrats on finding yours. I am having trouble finding anything.
Just posted pictures of the graves of John and Gertrude Karl. Not the best pictures, sorry. The stones are sinking.
