Born in Cleveland, OH in 1953, my parents fled the Lake Erie cold for California. I have lived in Thousand Oaks, CA since 1959, watching the area grow from a few thousand to the 150,000 plus today. B.A. degree in biology from California Lutheran University, M.B.A. from California State University, Los Angeles. I worked in the aerospace industry at Rocketdyne (Canoga Park), Rockwell Strategic Defense Center (Seal Beach), and Science Applications International (SAIC). President of several companies beginning in the mid-1990's (growing and brokers of organic citrus), I am semi-retired, enjoying myself. Married to Margaret (Wharton), we have two children, one just graduated from USC and the other is now working in New York City.
