He is my 5th cousin. May I use his gravestone photo in my Family Tree? I will gladly give you credit. Thank you so much, Terry

RE: Jack Theodore Sawdy
I didn't enter her memorial and did not add the photos of their memorial stone. The person that added the photos also created her memorial but also didn't link the memorials. It is against Find A Grave policy to add memorials for people who are still alive so I don't link to memorials that shouldn't exist.

Because there is no proof that Charlotte has passed away.

RE: Grandview Cemetery
No, no Jean, please I appreciate your willingness to venture out, leave the comforts of home to capture these engraved vital statistics so they may be shared with cousins and friends; everyone!

Best regards,

Sam

RE: Grandview Cemetery
Jean,

I haven't made much headway in the Grand View Cemetery. It has been some time since I have been out there. I was approached one my visits by a worker and told that I was to take pictures of the markers. I was using a good camera. I came back, returned another time. I resorted to a smaller camera. I am happy that you have taken an interest. There are so many graves not added to the Find A Grave database. I have friends and distant relatives, not found, buried somewhere in Grand View. I have a rather confining employment. I spend a lot of time searching the Find A Grave database.
I like to link family members. I see so many that have missing vital information. Many times it is seen in the photo posted but not entered digital.

Thanks for your efforts, your work.

Sam

Thank you for your response. The only record I have access to is the ledger book and it only contains basic information. Anything pertinent I would have shown on the memorial. Good luck with further research.

Thank you for sending the marriage info. However, because of them both being in their 70's, I believe McMillan was probably a previous married name rather than her maiden name. I have amended the memorial to state that. Possibly a little more earlier research will clarify.

Hello, Jean. Before I can amend the maiden name as you requested to McMillan, would you please provide your source. The funeral ledger shows the parents as Joe & Eva Harriman. Thanks

RE: Diana D. Haskell
Diana Haskell was my second cousin, and that other lady is Edith Harris my first cousin is Diana's mother. The pictures up loaded was given to me from cousin Edith for me to up load for her. Let me ask you this - do the head stone pictures have a different last name on it? Besides Haskell? Haskell was her first husband and she had remarried. Was a bad marriage. He took her for some money and a house, treated her badly while she was dying of cancer, and wouldn't let her four children (by her first husband) see their mother etc. etc. So no, we don't want that second man's name on her memorial. Cousin Edith was going to buy her a new headstone, but don't know if's she's done it or not.
