I became interested in genealogy when I was still in high school. I appreciate my dad's German culture from the prairie of Central Texas, as well as Germany itself, and my mom's deep East Texas heritage from the Piney Woods of Polk and Tyler Counties. Mom was also descended from some of the earliest German families to settle New Braunfels in the 1840's.
I retired after 30 years in public education and very active in my church and thankful for all the blessings God has given me!
