~~Greetings from the great state of Indiana~~

The online memorials I've created are my
kinfolk. It's taken many years to find the dates of death and burial places for some of these individuals. I welcome all corrections.

Karen Hill Walker
John & Eve Shaffer Family
Hi JJ,
John Shaffer, Sr. and his wife Eve Elizabeth (Kelchner) are my 6th great grandparents.
Their son George Henry Shaffer 1781-1874 and wife Barbara (Slagle) are my 5th great grandparents.
Their daughter Sarah “Sally” (Shaffer) born 1812 and husband George Newton 1805-1874 are my 4th great grandparents.
I am looking for proof that Sarah “Sally” Shaffer was the daughter of George Henry and Barbara (Slagle) Shaffer.
Do you have any info that would help me with my search or a suggestion of where I could look?
Thanks – Karen Walker

RE: Related to my husband
You wouldn't have happened to come across any photos of Henry and Olive have you? Our daughter is doing a project at school on family tree and origins. I have lots of printed info but almost zero pictures. Thanks!

Hello, Ephraim Kibbey is my 5th great grandfather, would love to touch base with you as it appears he is also in your family tree. I am new as a contributor to Find A Grave, I really appreciate all the work you have done, I am just learning how much work is required. Thanks

RE: Related to my husband
My husband is the grandson of Laura Young, who was Olive's daughter. Laura married Charles F Bradley, Sr.

RE: LCPL David Edward Owens, Jr
Thanks for getting back to me. Like you I thought is was a cool design. I even added it to my scrapbook. Just leave it there... I doubt anyone will have a problem with it or even know that.

Happy Memorial Day to you too.

LCPL David Edward Owens, Jr
Hello JJ,
I saw a virtual flower you placed June 23, 2011 on the Find A Grave Memorial of LCPL David Edward Owens, Jr; Find A Grave Memorial# 7358680 . I a circle of 12 gold stars on a blue field w/ the words IN MEMORY underneath. I like it and would like to use it but pardon my ignorance; is there any significance or meaning to this symbol. Before I start using it I want to make sure I know what I'm posting. Thank you in advance for letting me know.

William Henry Spencer
I see that you left a tribute to William Henry, he is my Great Grandfather. I was wondering if you had any info on his parents, Samuel Spencer and Mary Gregory. I have not been able to find anything about them.

I have had my DNA done by Family ree DNA and they showed that I am descended from William Spencer who emigrated to New England in 1632/3.

Possible Cousin
Earl Spencer
